South Hackensack, N.J. (September 10, 2020) – NAI James E. Hanson announces it has negotiated a lease for 27,177 square feet of industrial space at 30 Wesley Street in South Hackensack, N.J. NAI James E. Hanson’s Scott Perkins, SIOR, Andrew Somple, SIOR, Chris Todd, Greg James, and Justin Allessio represented the landlord, CPT NJ 30 Wesley, LLC, in the transaction with Guardian Data Destruction, Inc.

Guardian Data Destruction is an onsite, single-source solution for data center decommissioning, data destruction and logistics. With the largest fleet of mobile IT labs in the United States and DoD-level certified erasure equipment, Guardian Data Destruction eliminates the risk of data breaches that could arise during transport of hard drives and computer equipment by bringing its fleet of trucks directly to facilities to erase or destroy media on-site. The piece of mind provided by their door-to-door service has made Guardian Data Destruction one of the country’s leaders in electronic data shredding, degaussing, destruction, erasure and security needs. While already based in South Hackensack, the company’s rapid growth necessitated a move to a larger space.

Standing at 246,000 square feet, 30 Wesley Street boasts 14’-20’ ceilings, two tailgates, and one drive-in. Less than one mile from Interstate 80 and easily accessible from the NJ Turnpike, Routes 17 and 46, The Garden State Parkway, and New York City, 30 Wesley Street offers tenants an ideal location to service clients throughout the tri-state area. As Guardian Data Destruction looked for their new home, they recognized that 30 Wesley Street would allow them to stay headquartered in South Hackensack while expanding their footprint into a space that was three times larger to accommodate for their rapid growth.

“Although South Hackensack is among Bergen County’s smallest municipalities, its wide range of industrial buildings and proximity to New York City make it stand out as a premier industrial destination in the region,” said Perkins. “Our team’s deep experience in the Bergen County marketplace provides us with unparalleled insights into every town, city, and borough in the County that we can leverage on behalf of all of our clients looking for space in the market, whether they are a landlord hoping to attract a premier tenant or a tenant hoping to find a new home for their business.”

“Locating and securing the perfect property became an easy and seamless process with the assistance of our broker Andrew Somple. Working with NAI, we found a bigger and centrally located office and warehouse space that offered a custom buildout. And negotiating the lease was not a battle. NAI was a pleasure to work with and instrumental in supporting the future growth of Guardian Data Destruction and our global Fortune 500 market,” stated Glenn Laga, President/Founder of Guardian Data Destruction.
